Hey everyone, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Curt T-Connector Trailer Wiring Harness here on a 2018 Infiniti QX60. So your trailer wiring harness is gonna be one of the few things that we need in order to successfully tow a trailer here with our QX60. In addition to this, we're gonna need a trailer hitch and a ball mount slash hitch ball. All of which we carry here at etrailer. Now the wiring harness is simply put is gonna allow us to transfer these signals from the vehicle to the trailer so we can let other motors out in the road know what signals we're gonna be making because a lot of times our lights are actually gonna block our vehicle lights. So we need a way to transfer the lights from the vehicle to the trailer so we can arrive to our destination safe and sound. more

I want to walk through how to install the Curt T-connector vehicle wiring harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector. The 4-pole connector is gonna give us all of our proper lighting functions when we're pulling a trailer, so that we're legal and safe. Brake signals, turn signals, and our running lights. Gonna come with a dust cap, so when we're not using it, simply turn it, install it on the end, and it'll keep any dirt and debris from getting stuck on your connections. more

Now our Tekonsha wiring harness is going to provide us with a 4-pole flat trailer connector so we can get all the lights required by law to get down the road safely and securely. Like our tail lights, our turn signals, and our stop lights. Now our wiring is designed to stay on the inside of the car until we're ready to use it, which is really nice because it's going to keep the connector free of any dirt, debris, or moisture and we shouldn't have to worry about too much corrosion building up since it will be protected. more

Hopkins Trailer Connector Socket Installation - 2010 Infiniti QX56- Video
Rob: Hey everybody, Rob here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Hopkins Multi-Tow wiring kit on our 2010 Infiniti QX56. Now here's what our plug is going to look like once we have it installed. Now the really nice thing about this is not only is it going to give us a seven-way RV-style connector so we can get all of our lights on our trailer hooked up, but we're also going to get a four-pole flat trailer connector. Those are going to be the two most common connectors that you're probably going to have on your trailer, whether it's a boat trailer, Jet Ski, a utility trailer, or even a camper. Really, those two connectors are going to be the most common.Now each side's going to have a spring-loaded door, so it will help protect all the terminals inside, and it's going to have a slight gasket on each one. more

Our wiring is designed to stay on the outside of the vehicle whenever we're using it, but it is going to store in the inside. It's going to provide us the 4-pole flat trailer connector, so we can have all the required lights by law to get down the road safely. Like our taillights, our turn signals, and our brake lights.It is going to have a dust cover that's going to be included with the kit, so it's going to keep all that dirt, debris, and moisture out of the connector. However, whenever we're not using it, it's actually going to store inside by the spare tire.We can simply just grab our wire, tuck it underneath the spare tire, and it will be ready for us whenever we do need to use it. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2007 Infiniti G35- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2007 Infiniti G35 we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T-one vehicle wiring harness with four-pole flat trailer connector, part number 118480. Now this is what it looks like when it's installed. This wiring harness is designed to live inside the vehicle, when you're ready to put it away you simply roll it up, store it off to the side. When you're ready to use it pull it out, want to make sure you're going over the rubber seal that runs across the back. You want to stay away from any of your connection points where your trunk closes.This is what your wiring harness is gonna come with, all the necessary hardware to get it installed, your power wire to run up to your battery, four-pole flat for the necessary lighting for your trailer, it's also gonna come with the ModuLite box. It's gonna run directly from your battery and not draw any power from your light and it's gonna help with any back feed from your trailer if your trailer has any wiring issues. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2004 Infiniti FX35, we're going to be taking a look at showing you how to install the Tekonsha ZCI circuit protected vehicle wiring harness with four pole flat trailer connector and insulation kit, part number 119250KIT.Now, this is what our four pole looks like when it's installed. When it's not in use, you can stow it away in a side pocket over here in the side of the vehicle. And when you're ready to use it, you just drop it out the back. You want to make sure you go over top the rubber seal here. Stay away from your locking mechanism from your door, and go ahead. Close it into place.We've got more than enough wire here to connect to our trailer. more

TowReady Taillight Converter Hardwire Kit Installation - 2001 Infiniti I30- Video
Today on our 2001 Infiniti i30, we'll be installing the tow-ready, circuit-protected tail light converter with four-pole flat end, part number 119175KIT. Included in the install kit will be the necessary quick-splice connectors and test light. To begin our install, we'll first need to gain access to the manufacturer's wiring behind the tail lights. To do this, we'll need to remove the threshold. Securing the threshold, there are two exposed cargo hook fasteners. To remove the cargo hook fasteners, we'll pry out on the center of the fastener and then remove it completely. Next we'll get underneath the threshold, gently prying up, releasing the fasteners underneath. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2010 Infinity FX35- Video
All right today on this 2010 Infinity FX35 were going to install part number 118477 from Tow Ready. The first thing were going to do is go ahead and open the back hatch and remove the interior trim panels. We also will have to remove the cargo loops so we can move the trim panels out of our way. Then starting on our drivers side we will locate the vehicles wiring harness. We will separate this connector and install the tee connector with the yellow wire. Then we will go ahead and route the tee connector with the green wire underneath the threshold and over to the passenger side. more
